I would disagree and say that would be far more rare for that particular peg to be NYF. Never know.
Foremost Lithium in Canada:
"The drill targets will include the high-grade spodumene-bearing Beryl pegmatite dykes where grab sample assays of 3.89% and 5.17% Li2O were received from pegmatite dyke B1 and 3.81%, 4.09% and 4.74% Li2O from pegmatite dyke B2 in August 2021.
Also the Black Hills in South Dakota (some of the largest spod crystals in the world) were orignally Beryl mines, and have Spod up to 8% historically. Check out Iris Metals.
These projects literally have the word "Beryl" in them due to the type of pegmatite present. The Helen Beryl Mine was originally a feldspar and beryllium mine before lithium got popular.
I think OM1 sent out the tweet as Beryl is a pathfinder for both spodumene and/or lepidolite. Just like the tweet on Tourmaline - another pathfinder.
