I've bought and sold contractors over many yrs . During that time i've spoken with plenty consulting engineers, two of whom i caught up with over Easter in Brisbane. They confirmed margins remain tight. But its worth remembering that tenders cost time and money. DOW burnt a huge amount on a largish tender last FY which didn't get up. It knocked 20c off SP when they announced the cost/result. I've noidea how many tenders MND have submitted re renewables, but its a massive sector with Govts chucking Billions intoit. Read MND's last 3 reportsand they are buoyant re their JV firm Zenviron.Knowing how smart MND are... I can only assume their competitors are shaving magins to the bone to gain contracts. Nevertheless,i expect MNDto announce a win soon... possibly another windfarm.
