What a surprise the “independent” report recommends this very dodgy scheme. In my 40 years of investing I have never seen a report that doesn’t agree with management. A company using its own shareholder assets to fund the takeover by a third party, we are just giving the company. I wont be accepting the cash, if private equity thinks there is money here then why sell cheap. May as well take the longterm path a keep my shareholding eventually they will have to sell or relist the company to access profit on the deal
