We broke a production record in January (production tonnes to surface) not sure on grade on the back end of plant tho and February March was above average as well.
We had a little 2 day shut scheduled in May but was bought forward to the start of March because of the bumper January production targets. (positive)
Raise bore has a little way to go passed the 350m mark last week but they are still having trouble with the hardened ground, Cutters were getting replaced at the 50m marks but there has been a couple close to the 25m marks so a little delayed on that front. (hopefully we found a seem of tungsten haha)
I looked into the power issues a little more because It wasn't ever a problem, The original plan was when the raise bore left site that power was supposed to run the new return air fan, they can't run both at once with out the switch yard upgrade.
But there has been a slight change of scope to the original plan and the raise bore won't be going anywhere anytime soon.
(We may or may not hear this in the current quarterly don't shoot the messenger)
So at the moment we're mining a new fresh air drive 6x6 (a big one) for Area 5 and bell 50, Originally the fresh are was going to be shared between North/South Ren and the Blackwoods.
But by mining the new Fresh air drivers Bell 50 And Area 5 can be a stand alone mining operation split from the old workings (Essentially making 2 mines in one mine)
But unsure of the depth of the new fresh air rise raise bore hole or when it's scheduled to be drilled. (Assuming not to soon after return air is finished depending on development progress of mining drives to start of hole)
Very good idea to have 2 stand alone mining areas incase of any reason for decreased activity's due to seismic activity/events and also it will reduce delays in firing renters.
I'm also hearing rumours of new equipment purchases in the long term (New Jumbo)
And all employees have just been added to a quarterly bonus STI payment system.
