A takeover remains, in my opinion, the biggest risk to recognising the full value of Beach. All to often, the best resources get snapped up early in the piece, before the real ramp up in asset prices as the wider market becomes aware of the developing story.
Shareholders should want to keep these assets undiluted at BPT as long as possible, timing any sale or buy-in to maximise value, after the market has woken up to the aussie shale value (not to mention BPT's other valuable assets).
I am confident, however, that Reg Nelson is playing a patient game, and will defend against an ADE type scenario.
