butcherboy, this 27th. date is a little puzzling. Before trying the start up routine and plotting it all in the Manual they seem to have a bit on their plates in the meanwhile apart from screwing some pipes together.

There is mention of some final 'Heat exchangers" to arrive and be installed. These I would guess would be to transfer heat from the brine coming up from the well to the fluid being used in the secondary circuit and converting it to steam to drive the turbine.

This being the case do we assume the turbine has not been run at all yet? Well not at Innaminka. They would need a bit of time to satisfy themselves all was well with that.

I have the feeling they had reported running it previously but maybe not.
They would have had to use a seperate boiler or steam generator to do that.

Maybe the 27th. is just a date to make a cautious attempt at raising steam and spinning the turbine.
Further performance and reliability tests plus tweaking would then have to be done before putting that call through to the pub to hold a Happy Hour.

Any thoughts.
