As with all companies, there are always a number of issues as to why they perform well and why they don't.
The key issue for COE is that the Orbost plant isn't consistently hitting nameplate capacity notwithstanding several years of "tinkering".
Again, many mid-small cap O&G companies and miners have executives that are overpaid... nothing new with COE. Do they perform? Well.... they have had plenty of chances and have won a few and missed a few... they are probably well respected in the industry, but they aren't standouts.
I expect (and hope) there will be a big shakeup by June 2023 if the SP isn't sitting around 30c.
