Enormous claims:
The company says it has already confirmed that the Lineman's Bore, south-west of Katherine, has mining grade copper 15 metres wide and 300 metres deep.
Proto Resources chairman, Andrew Mortimer, says a mine in the area could employ at least 400 people.
If the Norlisk-style mineralisation is confirmed, "then it could employ over 10-, 20-, 30,000 people", he said.
