Similarly Sam that above line applies to your assertion that the termination will get lost in the courts.
There is nothing to suggest whatsoever that they terminated the licensing deal for any other reason than they simply couldn't afford to continue its development. Lets keep that bit real also eh.

Gassy is right in so far as the deal never gave us any enterprise value ....we were at the same sp a fortnight ago. So far as losing "years" Im not sure it will have any impact on current developments with the higher dose , orphan drug designation and formulation of the next trial parameters continuing regardless.
At this stage and until the phase 2b/3 is ready to start we actually don't need a partner which gives Destum 6-9 months to find a new one by which stage it should be ready to go straight into the next trial.

To be honest the licensing deal has never given any value to the sp and imo been the culprit for its demise. Everyone here has at sometime canned its existence for one reason or another.
So to be given the drug back and leaving Anp in far stronger cash position to continue its development in the short term while looking for a new partner is a blessing. Should we get another 2 mill, fantastic , that will be on top of the 6 million net benefit from Sbbp.

For one Im happy to take their money and see them out of the picture. Should anp position 1103 to be ready to go straight into the next trial with Orphan drug status, higher dose outcome known and Fda approval it will add significant value to a new deal and certainly increase the upfront payment.
That in addition to being able to negotiate from a position of strength this time around.

Generating revenues from the Early Access Program is another option. But depends entirely on its take up. Ages ago I did post up another drug that went into an EAP and went viral to the point it was outstripping manufacture. No suggestion that 1102 may do this but the first batch being made up is worth approx. $6 million and would treat a mere fraction of available sufferers.

Im not happy about the sp. Havent been for years. But I am happy to see the company loaded up with cash and in a far stronger position than where it was 12 months ago and really in a position to negotiate on its 2 drugs.
