The way stocks like CXO are we can probably expect the SP to drift lower every day now that news isn't forthcoming, irrespective of whether it's overdue or not. The flaky punters we have are always looking for a reason to sell and take no news as bad news. If we get one or two disappointing announcements you can bet we'll be back to at least the low 4s again. Unfortunately the bigger picture never seems to come into it. Fingers crossed for good news.
