I'm not talking about election. Trump might win who knows. I don't care whoever wins tbh.

But Trump's trade war with Xi in his first term - only resulted higher living cost/inflation and there was no winner. The losers clearly were ordinary citizens from both ends and globally.

China is already in front of US in green energy adaption and climate change initiatives.

What Biden's Gov did was to reduce/counter China's enormous influence in EVs, green energy race.

Trump would only have one thing to say, "I don't like EVs". Of course, to protect his sponsors and good pals from oil space.

Xi and CCP would want to see Trump winning again. If that happens and he can shut the door for EVs, every household (outside US) would end up having Chinese EVs in garage by 2032 or so.

US would then miss out CO2 target and China becoming a runaway winner in climate change.

Let's wait and see if the lessons (from his first term) were learnt.
