if the Australian government wants to reduce Chinese investment in Australia then the government better be prepared to open up their own wallet.
without investment the mining sector dies and projects go undeveloped. China is a major support for these projects and the sector. If the government wants to phase China out then they better be willing to take their place and offer the same level of financial support that the Chinese provide.
