yep....right again i reckon tacair. Im in another stock (and got my timing terribly wrong might i add) which is also focused on battery minerals - they are looking to become one of the only producers of spherical graphite for battery anode production outside of china. Currently, china produces 100% of that product to market. Long story short, they too are pursuing the European market in terms of alliances. Seems like a structural shift in the dominance of china for battery minerals. Still a ways to go, but its starting to feel like a new normal? BJ announced recently england was going to build a megafactory....more alliances we have access to other than china the better. But like you said, our delay to market could be beneficial in terms of timing the supply demand imbalance. Still a kick in the nuts when youve had capital tied up for so long and you have to stare at losses in portfolio while you wait for these macro events to align.
