If I was CATL I wouldn't be paying much more because what they bring to the table is worth a lot more in future money, growth, experience, efficiency, demand etc.... They know the project is worth many billions but they are not an ordinary buyer just bringing money to the table....
thats because they are building a sodium lithium free battery for byd !!!
lithium batteries are certainly need outside China !
