Pretty simple maths:
US$240M for 24%
Therefore US$10M per 1%mi
AVZ currently owns 75% before selling to CATL.
Therefore AVZ is currently worth US$750M or about A$1B.
The deal was basically done at par.
AVZ value should not change after the transaction as their 24% worth US$240M will be substituted with US$240M cash.
The recent run in the SP reflects this par transaction.
