Its a great deal but personally I would have preferred that it was not a Chinese investor as they are hard to trust.
I guess the upside is the DRC might have been prepared to screw an Australian company but when the mine is partly owned by the Chinese they are less likely to cause problems.
The best thing is most of AVZ's part of the funding will be secured so no major CR's are likely in the short term.
