Do you mean every deal by JAT or every deal in general? If the former, yes they all seem to have a similar non-binding clauses, if the latter, then no.
Even stating a minimum commitment would be better than stating no commitment. Alternatively providing updates when tranches of orders are received following the initial agreement would also provide more surety on its sustainability.
Example 1: Company X has agreed to buy up to $Ym over 2 years, but there is no commitment or penalty to not achieve this; or
Example 2: Company X has agreed to buy up to $Ym over 2 years, this is expected to be in (...) tranches commencing (...) with a minimum commitment of ($....)
Which one inspires more confidence despite the fact they both announce the same revenue handshake?
