And this is the trouble with doing no research.

The three key Landowners in Axioms supporter group were:

    Francis Selo- Iputu Tribe
Leonard Bava- Thavia Tribe/ Suma Land
    Fr Wilson Mapuru- Taraoa Tribe/Havithua

This is more than public record. They were in the court case with them.

Stevenson Manase Belakame is Francis Selo's Nephew. Mr Selo passed away in 2016 and his lands are now represented by Stevenson Belakame. He is also Londsdale Manase's son.

Leonard Bava also passed away in 2016 and his lands are now represented by his younger brother Clifton Bazil and the lands are also represented by Chief Martin Tango. Chief Tango is a long established landowner and was mentioned as far back as 1992 in the original acquisition documentation.
Fr Wilson Mapuru remains as a landowner along with his son Dr David Mapuru.

So no Stevenson Belakame isn't just a logging owner that your internet searching has uncovered. He is the representative of Francis Selo's former lands. The Iputu Lands.

The KLA is without question the representative organisiation for the Principle Landowners and is seeking a whole different framework for mining their lands.

I would suggest that you write to them and ask them their position.
