A consolidation won't increase the market cap. It simply means that at a 100:1 condolidation your share holding will decrease from 1,000,000 to 10000 but the share price will be 10 cents instead of a tenth of a cent. The value doesn't change, just the amount of shares will reduce to 127 million instead of 12.7 billion. It has to happen or we will never move.
