Just providing some info for someone who was asking, take from it what you will.
The Corporate governance council issues a list of recommendations for corporate governance and ASX listed companies are required to report against the recommendations. Youre allowed to take a different approach to the recommendations but you must provide an explanation why.
It’s not uncommon practice for this end of town. If you take a look at some other specs they will have similar verbiage in their corporate governance statements.
