Precisely. A lot of people seem to think that statement means money is on the way. Certainly not the case. And there is zero guarantee a settlement will be reached anyway. It could still end up in court for years, and since CDX has no $ to contest it, they'd lose a large percentage of any payout to the ambulance chasers.
It’s also disappointing there was no mention as to what sort of $ cost savings we’ll experience as a result of the retrenchments, etc.
As much as this update is nice to read, it doesn't mean a whole lot until funding is sorted.
