Obviously you are a very empathetic person putting your neighbours feelings ahead of your own. What I said in my post was from the aspect of health and safety it would not concern me to have a salt landfill next door to me. This specific aspect health and safety, I would not be unduly concerned my neighbours health and environmental safety would be impacted from the salt landfill. I would have no idea what they would think about it. Also note lots of other aspects to having a landfill next door than health and enviromental concerns. I also said in my post that I appreciate others could feel differently.
