The industrial salt is the awkward one, not nearly as valuable and already produced in large quantities. Maybe it could get shunted on to one of the exporters like Cheetham at a bargain price. However, if PWN go the chlor-alkali route, then the salt kind of disappears and isn't a problem.
One advantage to production by PWN is that it's not weather dependent. From the Australian Saltworks website . . .

Another interesting thing on the Saltworks site is 'CSG Salt Development', pegged on the map in SE QLD, but no more said about it and came up a blank on searches. I have no idea whether it's current or abandoned historical or whatever.
