If they are left to do what they want with no large instos actively fighting them, then they can continue to destroy value and drive the price even lower.
The board have ignored it for too long. The SP will not "look after itself". It needs help and support from large holders - but there really aren't that many large holders that are supportive it seems.
I like many others are well underwater and wished I'd never heard of GXY. At a minimum, these shorters have cost me many years of lost opportunity - as I'm sure the SP will recover one day in a few years but only when management get some serious cornerstone investors / shareholders onboard.
