Speaking of history, i believe the old mine at Molong was the first commercial copper mine in the state, if not the country I used to live in Molong, and lets just say there is no North Molong. Wello is where it's at, and yes their maroon (footy jumpers) often wave goodbuy to beaten up teams.

Imagine. Just one core of high grade, to mix with the rest, close to Dubbo and Wello, and Dunedoo, rail, road, power, people,. It would change a huge chunk of Western NSW forever, as Cadia has for the Orange region. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
