HI @plough - WRT your comment "Strange they would not go for something 100 meters deeper first ", I've been wondering about this too, and one (amateur) idea that might make it less of a 'hero shot' is if the hole has a number of goals: maybe it cuts through the boundaries of the mineralised area around 500m (goal 1) and then down through the flexure zone level and then 'searches' for the ore body 300m+ further down dip (goal 2)? No idea, but the dislocation caused by flexure zone might actually allow them to justify the deeper hole in some way like this?
