It's incorrect to characterise the 20% owner of Lepidico Chemicals Namibia (Pty) Ltd (LCN), the owner of the Karibib mine, as a silent partner. This matter was extensively canvassed on another forum. The experts and investors are aware of (and are comfortable with) the structure. Confidentiality obligations, and my respect for the analysis undertaken by those experts, prevent me from further disclosure on this matter.

The 2021Q2 report (p7) discusses the establishment of Lepidico Infrastructure Namibis (Pty) Ltd (LIN) as the infrastructure vehicle. LIN is 100% owned by Lepidico Holdings Pty Ltd. The infrastructure required for the operation of the mine (including the concentrator) will be leased by LIN to LCN. Accordingly, LCN should have no significant capex requirements, and certainly not the $8M from the minority owner you speculate.
