I don't usually pay much attention to takeover talk, but I have to admit in this case it is a distinct possibility. Not immediately but in the next six months when the picture becomes clearer regarding reserves. BRU is considerably undervalued at this point and given the total potential prize there could be any number of the majors watching closely. Most likely in my opinion would be ConocoPhillips next door, closely followed by Woodside who need gas for Pluto.
You are right too in that BRU continue to provide the best and most informative presentations on the ASX.
After reading this latest presentation it is hard not to rush in and buy more, however, it must be remembered that it is a long term investment and there will be blood and tears from time to time, but there is no escaping the fact that BRU has incredible potential and will eventually be worth many many multiples of what it is today.
