The belting as you call it is as a result of shorting a stock that has a long term path and is currently suffering a lack of activity.
It is easy to short under those circumstances especially as there is not a high turnover.
The shorting originally was driven by a belief in the market that there would be a cap raising that would cause a share price reduction. This doesn't look like it will be the case.
What were the main concerns that Stockanalysis have ?
