I also remember watching a video presentation by the GEM CEO where he showed a photo of himself standing amoungst a group of Indian cutters and polishers, and saying "somebody in this group is an idiot, and that idiot is me" and going on to explain how he had gone down the cutting and polishing route, only to find that it was the wrong direction. How MUS missed or ignored this lesson and had to make the same radical change is beyond me, but IMO this is already history, CJ has done a great job since then.

Amazing, but MUS probably wouldn't be where it is now if that hadn't occurred ... so history as you say.

Looking forward to this next week. I think some excitement is on the cards!
