I think BARDA initial procurement will be the next shoe to drop, IMO. The visibility today because of where and who, was big IMO next will be the burn conference in 3 weeks, 9 different speakers including the Dr herself on 10 different abstracts, until then I expect slow steady accumulation to occur. Have not been paying close attention to Australian trading but in the US, especially today it was just ask slapping mainly, but, slow and deliberate not a momo type. From about midway through the presentation it was a steady 5-25K methodical hits, almost no bid hits except for 1-3K here and there.
Shorts did jump almost 300% today as per FINRA report, MMs were a lot of it by naked shorting sitting on the ask showing 100 but waiting for many slaps to move it a penny, I liked the trading being that steady and deliberate. Who knows what besides more accumulation will come from today's presentation there were so many different actors at this conference and so many different directions to go, it would be a guess at best. The last minute short hit for 7K shares to knock it back .07 was suspect, but expected, am looking forward to see how it continues tomorrow, definitely has opened many eyes.
Have to give kudos to the company, they have played this well and professional, getting the FDA approval done, then increasing the burn conferences done to get more eyes, then a successful launch with plenty of media attention due to the conferences. Today, was a real big step up, this was not your everyday conference it was in front of the leaders in the space whether it be other companies, hedge funds, institutional buyers and individual deep pocket players.
Nasdaq listing could come before BARDA, or increased military orders to differing bases on other branches as it's only been the Air Force thus far that has taken some trial orders in Texas. At the end of the day it's a mystery, but, at least we know the engine is firing on al cylinders. One thing I wondered about, was the conference today known somehow in Australia/Asia before the PR? I only ask as that would explain the increase in interest and volume two days ago and yesterday as it too was in a deliberate manner without volatility, you could tell it was being accumulated in a big way.
Well, so much to ponder so many different directions to go, so many different things that could happen, it will be exciting and rewarding to watch it unfold. Again congrats to you all, I would venture to say with what this company is facing in the coming months and year desperation and anger should be able to be set aside.
