Great to get an update on their financing plans.
While ESG pressures have not made it easier for O&G companies to secure funding for development of new projects, the current conflict in Ukraine, explosion prices for oil and gas, as well as raw materials required for renewables shows yet again that we are on a long long path to transitioning away from fossil fuels. Unless the world wants to choose between $150 - $200 a barrel of oil vs 3-5x prices for lithium, cobalt, nickel etc - then we need more investment to develop O&G projects as well as mines for raw materials for batteries.
