The US is about to pass law on EV incentives with emphasise on US or its free trade partners sourced of batteries so watch this space. Anything like this will help to speed up the EV uptake. In the mean time I believe Australia would take the 2035 deadline like the EU and it's up to states to regulate the year, rego/stamp duty on EV as incentives (the federal government provides tax incentives on EV).
I think the board will soon need to say about the usage of the mountain of cash. Some goes to the P650/P1000 and other JV in the next couple of year. Some goes to divies and what about the resource growth? Should we buy mine near our processing plants in the Pilbara or grow it somewhere else and we should look for the low cost/environmental friendly mine I guess.
