It is nice to have some positive commentary around here although the time Nuheara has already invested in moving to the hearing sector should not be downplayed. How many years has it been since Nuheara dropped the Lives project to opt out of "the race to the bottom" with buds and to concentrate on the hearing sector. How many years has Nuheara been involved with the Scotland/Ireland NHS after qualifying there and why did they not proceed with the UK NHS after that false start? How long has it been since Nuheara qualified for our Government HSP and the NDIS yet generated few sales?
Finally, after a delayed release of up to 4 months after FDA approval, next week the retail performance of the HP Pro will start to become apparent through sales and reviews. It is unfortunate that HP are not directly involved in advertising but participating by brand only. Nevertheless removal of the lack of brand awareness factor will provide a real test of acceptance of the product and its form by the market. In my view it cannot help but sell in reasonable volumes given the numbers of POS and the backing of FDA approval. However, talk that if this fails, we still have the Realtek deal is not reassuring until we know exactly what the Tealtek deal involves.
