Current price action in CVN reminds me a lot of price action in WGO before the takeover flurry. WGO languished around $0.12 per share for months and months and months with seemingly no interest even though by any measure $0.12 per share seemed very, very cheap based on WGO's already defined gas resources and 50% share in the WE JV with STX. Then STX, BPT etc made takeover offers and the rest is history.
When the takeover activity started, suddenly everyone wanted a piece of WGO as it dawned upon everyone just how cheap WGO was compared to its real value. No one could believe that it had been so cheap (and so ignored) for so long.
IMO CVN's current position is similar. One of these days IMO we will wake up and realize that CVN at the current price of around $0.12 - $0.13 per share was one of the best buys of the year.
