imagine being in a spec vehicle that relies on its sp for cashflow but then acting as if putting forward its story on the best basis to an equity mkt where the risk is all on the equity investor wasnt required to meet its fiduciary responsibility to shareholders
the entire job is to 'manifest' the project into existence. Responsibility is to articulate the risks as best able. Not avoid speaking to them
and from an investment viewpoint the best returns are when spending is low relative to other points. That is when an equity investor needs to head the story.
no - can't see any rational defence for that behaviour.
