TAS, hope you are right. However I wouldn’t want to rely on a China stimulus package just yet. I think the Chinese leadership has a lot on its plate, not least its strange relationship with Russia. I think the Chinese leadership are grappling with how to stimulate its economy without risking long term damage. At the moment domestic demand is low, inflation is low and youth unemployment is around 25%
Who knows if the AUD/USD will stay around 0.65
The next quarterly report will be compulsory reading.
Why I am so pissed off is that AIS had great promise and I believe AL has squandered that promise with incredibly poor management.
