Easy way to think of it is. Greens will say the only way to find a way to net zero is to immediately stop all gas and coal and look for the solution. Labours view has been that they will be open and transparent with industry participants and say that they absolutely have no long term future however, their contribution in the short term will help buy time to find a solution. This short term contribution will also see the lights stay on and the national debt at a level that is within view of paying back at some stage. The greens aren't here to provide logical decisions on governing a country because they couldn't, they are here to keep the others honest
