So interesting @3steps. Trying to find DuPont's photo the other night, Ioneer came up and I thought "lithium, hmm?" but didn't go further with it. Reading your post, thinking being off-grid is ideal in a place like Nevada, I popped over to their website to learn more about their resource. My understanding is that Nevada is clay country, but Ioneer's deposit is unique- searlesite. They will leach their lithium using dilute sulphuric acid.
They explain that their "processing facilities will include a sulfuric acid plant and steam turbine. This will allow the Company to produce sufficient electricity to power its entire operation, meaning zero reliance on the Nevada electrical grid." The explanation of their process is interesting, however it produces technical grade carbonate (99.0%), which is what they intend to sell for the first 3 years. During year 3, they are planning to install a lithium hydroxide circuit.
If the photo you found is one and the same as the photo in our Corporate Update, suggesting that DuPont could be one of our 4 potential caesium/rubidium customers, is this why we are building our own sulphuric acid plant? Building our own plant and considering the import of H2SO4 have both puzzled me, when Abu Dhabi is already surrounded by plants, with the UAE being the world's largest exporter of sulphuric acid.

A query: if Haldor Topsoe refer to their 5 ribbed catalyst's "unique daisy shape," how can DuPont's be the same? Btw I still have not located DuPont's and it's not for a lack of trying. All I've been able to come up with is their MECS series, which are either 6 ribbed, rings or pellets.
An elaboration to my earlier post:
Topsoe's VK38+ seems to be vanadium-based with no added caesium. Their caesium-promoted catalysts in the series are VK59, VK69, VK-WH and VK-WL.
