sadly i think the "deadline" is early next year. The O&G team at Origin won't be moving too quick to do themselves out of a job and income, no matter how motivated their CEO.
I really hope there is a contractual pathway to force withdrawal and regain 100% ownership for the price of a soy latte on a public holiday in most capital cities these days. With the runway we have to 2023 dry season, there is plenty of time to find a new JV partner for the right risk adjusted price that accounts for the known Rafa reserves vs the potential Rafa discovery that Origin farmed into.
