Hopefully CDX can get over the line and recapitalise at a reasonable price. The recent update gives me confidence this looks probable. While I have been licking my wounds during the falling share price I have also topped up and now have an average buy price of 45c! Still a way to go but if we can attract the money we need for the next 6 months the current share price will be a distant memory. And our fortunes could change very fast.
What I like about our technology position is after Sept with the start of mass deployment of Pulse we will have data being gathered from an fda cleared device that is not just from current trials but will be in many new medical settings and a wide variety of people: race, age, physical conditions etc. This data should consolidate our lead in algorithm development and provide a credible pathway to develop the calibrations for our wearable band. The wearable band with fda clearance, for the range of vasular readings, looks to me to be a very challenging project. Having said that this technology will eventually get commercialized but here we are in pole position with no one close to us as no one other company has an fda cleared device suitable to calibrate against.
I agree with the comments above that it will cost other companies many times our current market cap cost to get where we are now, plus take several years, so buying us out would be a sensible option. Luckily with Craig and Niall being so heavily invested in cdx and being controlling shareholders if this approach is tried we should not get sold of for 6 pence.
