the EV is only less the cash (I’m sure they paid a premium for the land - it would be hard to recover $44m if they wanted to sell). The exploration costs are a write off if the project has no economic value - maybe the verdict pending. So risks remain with the market cap, so a worry. In hindsight maybe they shouldn’t had gone ahead with the spinoff and retained gold exposure.
