in hindsight, I believe it was a mistake to appoint Jamie CEO. he didn’t have any CEO experience, he was not prepared to be based on site, or, to my knowledge, even visit on a semi-regular basis and he has a bad habit of over-promising on lots of things.
When I read the announcement that Jamie had been appointed to fill the CEO role, I was shocked as I had thought Jamie was up until that time in charge of investor relations and serving as an assistant to Ross. I thought that Ross would have appointed a CEO with lots of relevant experience and would be prepared to live on site.
