Why am I holding AMN (still) right now?
Completely forgetting about Mackay for the moment... we have a MC that is underpinned by a negative carry value to our WA1 holdings which is a much larger, safer, and more stable company meaning that no matter what happens in our Tali drill program, that $31.6m holding in WA1 should remain relatively stable (well... thats up to the performance of WA1 of course).
That gives me a free punt on exploring Arunta with Tali... if Tali finds something and our holdings in Tali Resources WA increase... that is great. But even if we drill and drill and discover only 4000sqkm of worthless dirt (and I don't expect that to happen)... we still have Niobium Holdings (WA1) which is worth more than our current MC anyway.
It's a free kick.
