For me a big question here is Sphygmocor Technology vs the rest. From what I have researched, Sphygmocor is "Only FDA cleared devices for full arterial waveform analysis in adults". Their devices the Oscar2 and Xcel have been around and used in clinical trials for over 10 years, making them essentially the gold standard.

Oscar2 and Xcel from what I understand require a clinician and some training to use, and the Pulse will replace them being similar to a traditional BP monitor but providing the full Sphygmocor analysis using just the cuff, with information on readings and being linked to the Conneqt cloud portal app. From their investor presentations it will provide measurements;


Which will give the consumer a better understanding of their cardiovascular health than traditional BP monitors. There's also over 2300 publications regarding Sphygmocor technology, I did a search on google scholar myself out of curiosity to see how many scholarly articles included "Sphygmocor" and there's 16700+ with articles published regularly.

Anyhow, just some research, I'm of the opinion Sphygmocor is the best out there given its use in clinical trials, uniqueness with FDA approval and number of occurrences in scholarly articles. Given the sales of traditional BP monitors, the prospect of them disrupting the market makes $17mil MC seem ridiculously low vs peers... Hang in there... Not long now..
