Several comments. POG down big time today. Goldfields all cash offer was generous . The current DEG announcements were interesting first, cash burn rate continues. second time lines for permit approval keep slipping now saying the September quarter. third ,the extremely interesting comment that they are prepared to go it alone with cash reserves and borrowing .I dont think DEG has the ability or financial resources to go it alone no matter what they say .Does this mean that DEG management is getting a bit nervous that Northern Star may withdraw from the deal or delay its implementation until a mining permit is granted????Getting a permit to mine is much more difficult and complicated and time consuming in Australia than it used to be .Will Northern star go ahead and dilute 20% of its stock before a mining permit is granted?????? Obvious that no one else will be interested in DEG . In view of worldwide financial insecurity will goldfields increase thier offer for GOR ,we will see ,somehow I doubt it.
