Years ago they put out apresentation for a US conference where they overlaid the palawan basin over Texas... and smack bang in the middle of the slide was "Austen Texas" - at which point you might imagine New York's finest stock pickers switched off...
If you don't care about the detail in a presentation targeted at the lifeblood of the company (i.e. the capital markets - where Nido gets its funding) then what level of detail goes into planning and executing their field operations?
Oilman, would you agree that compatibility testing of swell packers with reservoir, completion and stimulation fluids would be normal practice? And if not that a simple search of industry research papers?
As the saying goes, few plan to fail but in Nido's case they definitely failed to plan... and we all know the result of that.
