For the record, I’m not getting paid. I have some concerns about this project that I think are valid. Mainly the economic viability of the deeper ores and the risk associated with the final payment of what was - at least until the spike from $2.50 to $3.75 - a terrible deal on Cortadera.

Mining at Productora is likely happening currently because, before the copper price spiked in October, mgmt was crapp1ng thier pants thue would not be able to raise all the money they need to prove up the Cortadera resource, which in turn (if proved up) might allow them to raise the money they need to pay Carola the US$15M. Same reason they pursued the VAT refund (the second installment of which looks like just a bit of desperate financial engineering - robbing Peter to pay Paul).
