Freely admit that I know nothing about pharmacies in China, but in Oz they are a mix of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and baby products. Assuming the same applies in China then I can personally see the synergies here. I'm not disputing other's arguments around consolidating their focus, but equally I don't see this as being completely out of left field.
They have the agreement with Sinopharm and their 5000 stores, so adding cosmetics into this makes sense at first glance at least.
