Bit of a dive into the geology with the help of google translate mainly from GÉOLOGIE DE LA RÉGION DU LAC CARMOY, BAIE-JAMES (SNRC 33H06, 33H11, 33H14)

C1X are targeting the Guyer group (black box below) as host rocks to any pegmatites (same group as PMT):

    Referring to map area above:

"In the mapped area, the Guyer Group outcrops in the central-eastern part of sheet 33H11 (figure 2 and mapout of text). Only the Agyl basaltic amphibolite unit is present in this sector. Amphibolite is very finely to finely grained, nematogranoblastic and locally porphyroblastic. It is medium green in fresh exposure and green very dark to grayish in weathered surface. Amphibolite has a well marked foliation and often shows banding characterized by alternating hornblende-rich ribbons with ribbons rich in plagioclase. In general, the primary structures are obliterated by deformation and metamorphism, but pillow lavas are locally preserved, indicating a stratigraphic summit towards the north (photo 2, appended). Amphibolite is composed of green hornblende locally forming porphyroblasts,12 plagioclase and quartz. We also observe traces of epidote, magnetite, carbonate, pyrite, pyrrhotite and arsenopyrite".

What's particularly interesting is the boundary and relationship of the Guyer and the Wachiskw intrusion to the south (light tan in map above). The Wachiskw Intrusion is described as:

"mainly tonalite, diorite and, locally, quartz diorite. The intersection relationships show the presence of several phases of tonalite and intermediate rocks. We also encounters pegmatitic and granitic injections, as well as enclaves of amphibolite and tonalitic gneiss. The unit includes two varieties of tonalite: a tonalite leucocratic to biotite ± hornblende mesocratic and a tonalite hornblende-biotite mesocrate. These two varieties are closely associated and cannot be dissociated on the scale of work. Granite pegmatite intrusions belonging to the Granite du Vieux Comptoir are visible everywhere in the Wachiskw Trespass. They are most often in the form of dykes or decametric clusters with metrics cutting tonalites and diorites. In places, these intrusions inject parallel to the foliation. We also observes some leucocratic granite intrusions biotite and hornblende, medium-grained, massive to slightly foliated, which inject in the form of centimetric dykes to metrics."

Very similar to the geology described in the PMT prospectus:

There is very little literature available on the Corvette pegmatites. Does anyone know of any info on geochron etc done on the Corvette property?
